Cooke played Ron, the soon to be husband engaged to Melinda (Sara Foster). Ron has three friends that are just pathetic. Jason (Greg Pitts) is a sex fiend that can not get any. Then there is Seth (Danny Jacobs) who is obsessed with germs, and keeping away from them. Finally there is Derek, a three time husband, and four time single man. His perception on marriage is very pessimistic. His main purpose in the film seems to be to show Ron that marriage is the wrong way to go, Derek is played by the popular comedian Harland Williams ("Sorority Boys").
